Quiz Line Terms and Conditions

1)
Quiz Line, a skill-based, interactive television game show, hereinafter referred to as the Programme is organised by TeleMedia InteracTV (West Africa) Limited (the "Promoter", details as set out at the end of these terms). The Programme is produced by Telemedia InteracTV Africa Limited, a company duly registered in Malta (136 St. Christopher Street, Valletta, VLT 05) (the "Producer"). Information included in the Programme regarding how to enter and participate and in relation to the prizes form part of these terms.

Entry is only open to residents of the Nigeria aged 18 years or over. Employees and their immediate families (including any live-in partner) of the Promoter or Producer, Ultima Limited and any of their subsidiaries/associated companies and/or agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter and other entrants must not have any assistance from any such person. Any such entries will be invalid.

By calling to participate in the Programme you agree to be bound by these terms.

The Programme will be broadcast from May 2006 seven days a week. During each Programme, the presenter will ask various general knowledge questions or pose other skill based questions or puzzles to viewers. If you think you have the correct answer and are eligible under these terms to participate, you can register by telephone as set out in clause 5 below within the relevant time frame for that question or puzzle as specified in the relevant Programme. Once registered, a caller will be selected to participate on-air in the show by:

(a)random selection from all 10th numbers registered during the specified timeframe for that Programme as stated by the presenter or otherwise specified during that Programme; or

(b)selection of the caller making the first call after the point stated by the presenter or otherwise specified during the Programme.

The selected caller will then be connected live to the Programme studio and asked to give their answer to the relevant question or puzzle. If incorrect, a further caller may be selected. If the registered caller is called back from the Programme studio but does not answer within four rings or the line is busy then another caller will be selected.

Callers connected live to the studio must comply with any terms or instructions given to them and the Promoter and Presenter reserve the right to end the call or refuse to issue a prize where, in their discretion, they believe that the caller is acting in any manner that is inappropriate or may be contrary to any broadcast codes and regulations or any law. Callers may not, without limitation, promote any product or service or political cause, use inappropriate language or swear or otherwise say anything that may be harmful or hurtful to any person, body or entity. Callers accept that they are solely responsible for the consequences of anything that they themselves choose to say whilst participating.

To participate in the Programme:

a)Telephone 345 (from MTN) or 35855 (from any other network that may be displayed on your television screen during the airing of the Programme), listen to the recorded message and respond as prompted to the questions asked. b)You can get through to the Programme via SMS by texting W to 345 (from MTN) or 35855 (from any other network that may be displayed on your television screen during the airing of the Programme). If you are the 10th caller and your number is selected by the computer at the next draw, you will be called back by operators and will have the chance to give your answer.

The charge per call or text message will be N100.00. Charges for entering will be deducted from your available credit time if you are a pre-paid customer or appear on your monthly statement if you are post-pay customer.

You must have the permission of the bill payer before calling.

Neither the Promoter nor the Producer are responsible for network, telephone line or communication failures of any kind or for entries that are incomplete or incomprehensible or not received. Such entries will be void.

7)
You may enter as many times as you wish. Entries must not be sent in through agents or third parties. No responsibility can be accepted for lost, delayed, incomplete, or for electronic entries or winning notifications that are not received or delivered.Any such entries will be deemed void.

Prize

8)
Callers connected live to the Programme studio and who then answer the relevant question or puzzle correctly will be entitled to a guaranteed prize (either cash or otherwise as stated in the relevant Programme). Such caller may then increase the amount or value of their prize-winnings in the "Dove" game played live on air. The outcome of the Dove game will not be less than the guaranteed minimum amount or prize-value already won. Callers must be prepared to participate in both elements of the Programme competition in order to be eligible for any prize.

Cash prizes will be issued to winners within 20 working days of such win.

10)
The Promoter's decision on all matters is final and no correspondence will be entered into. All prizes are non-transferable or exchangeable.

11)
No purchase is necessary to register to participate in the Programme.

12)
The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the promotion or to offer alternative prizes at its discretion.

13)
The Promoter (or any third party nominated by the Promoter) may use the winner's name and image and their comments relating to the prize for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice or without any fee being paid. However, save for the above, information and data ("personal data") which is provided by you when you enter will be held and used by the Promoter, the Producer and their suppliers and contractors in order to administer the competition. Your personal data may also be passed to your cellular phone provider or to relevant regulatory bodies, the police or other authorities in the course of the investigation of any complaints or suspected unlawful activity or where requested by the phone provider in connection with the billing arrangements for the competition. Aggregate, non personal data may also be used for the purpose of undertaking market research or in facilitating reviews, developments and improvements to relevant services.

Entrants are advised to print and keep safe these terms.

15)
These terms shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

For a hard copy set of these terms and conditions or the name of the winner, please send a Self Addressed Envelope (SAE) to "Interactive Competition" at the Promoter's address below.
